DigiCanTrain Ends, but Its Impact on Digital Cancer Care Continues

The DigiCanTrain project has successfully delivered a digital skills training programme for healthcare professionals in oncology, including a digital competence framework, structured curriculum and modules, and extensive training and dissemination materials. The project has strengthened the digital readiness of the cancer care workforce across Europe and contributed to advancing person-centred, digitally enabled cancer care.

With the successful completion of its activities, the DigiCanTrain project is now officially closed. However, its impact continues beyond the project lifetime. The DigiCanTrain training programme remains available for use, supporting ongoing learning and professional development in digital skills for cancer care professionals (link available in the guide). This ensures that the knowledge, tools, and competences developed during the project will continue to benefit the healthcare workforce across Europe.

Detailed guidance, training modules, and supporting resources for both trainers and participants are accessible on the Materials page, enabling continued uptake and adaptation of the programme in diverse educational and clinical settings.
